Espaço Cultural do IEA-RP recebe exposição fotográfica “Despertar”

Jornal da USP announced Despertar, Marcela Neves's solo exhibition at the Cultural Space of the Institute of Advanced Studies, Ribeirão Preto, on view from 21 September to 21 October 2022 with free admission.

The article describes photographs following sunlight across the campus and the Brazilian landscape — sunrises, fish drying in the sun, riverside communities and century-old trees in black and white.

It also outlines the artist's training, in Social Communication at FAAP and Photography at Escola Panamericana, with Art History courses at MAM, and notes that earlier that year she had held her first solo show, Des Cobertas, at Centro Cultural Palace.
