Nature

In Nature the flooded forest, exposed roots and a broken egg on the ground speak of origin — the theme the artist names as the centre of her work. The images almost always come in pairs, and meaning forms in the pair.

The diptych that opens the series is the most direct: beside a trunk in the forest, the artist's hair falls down her back and merges with roots. The body enters the landscape as one more organism, and nature photography becomes self-portrait.
